Julie Dossett is an award-winning senior communications professional. For more than 25 years, she has worked alongside senior leaders and communications teams, developing bespoke communications programs and content that directly advance their organizational goals. Working collaboratively with clients’ teams, she unlocks the insights and incisive narratives that deliver impact, while building productive relationships based on trust, flexibility and the highest of ethical standards in strategic communications.

Through her consulting practice, Julie provides practical communications counsel and services to industry-leading clients in the private and not-for-profit sector. With an ongoing passion for working with exciting innovators, she works with two or three high-growth startups and/or accelerators at any given moment.

Through Responsible Communications, Julie has also provided communications and stakeholder engagement guidance to Toronto Metropolitan University’s Ontario Chamber of Commerce and Magnet initiative, HireImmigrants.ca and the Diversity Institute. Most recently, Julie and Kathleen jointly support the global marketing, digital and communications work of Thornhill Medical.

Julie’s work has been recognized through national and international honours including IABCawards, as well as recognition from the New York and Columbus International Film & Television Festivals for exceptional communications & media achievement. Julie is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and holds both the Canadian Securities Certificate and a certificate in Market Research.
