Kathleen Powderley, PresidentHaving worked for nearly two decades in communications, Kathleen’s approach to advancing social, economic and health and well-being initiatives through effective communications is highly regarded and sought after. She has worked both locally and globally to further the success of her clients, while her expertise in media relations has helped a diverse range of clients across the healthcare, technology and innovation, international development, education and research, energy and environment sectors achieve both media recognition and communications objectives.
Kathleen’s clients benefit from her expertise and years of trust built with media, policymakers, community and industry stakeholders. She has worked with clients and teams throughout Canada, the US, UK, Africa, Asia and Europe.
International Leadership
Kathleen sits on the board of advisors for the Trade+Impact Association, a collaborative global community of members supporting women-led social enterprises in Africa and the Middle East. Kathleen was instrumental in the launch of Lifeline Challenge which provides support for the success of newcomers to Canada. She also sits on the Board of Lifeline Afghanistan and is a volunteer with numerous organizations in her hometown of Ottawa. In addition to lending her expertise to Lifeline Syria – an organization dedicated to assisting Syrian newcomers to Canada, Kathleen was part of a group that sponsored several Syrian families relocate to Prince Edward County, Ontario.
